Joyce Borton Schoonover

Joyce Borton Schoonover, 90, of Lick Creek Church Rd., Denton passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at her residence.

A celebration of life service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 27 at Clear Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Davis officiating.

She was born on January 7, 1932 in Williams County, Ohio the daughter of Ray C. Borton and Lois D. Kirkinburg Borton. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Claude Burton Schoonover, Jr.; brother, Harold Borton.

She is survived by sons, Michael Alan Schoonover, Mark Randall Schoonover, and Kent James Schoonover all of Denton; daughter, Kristine Ann Sanders and husband Doug of Danville, AR;  4 grandchildren, Beverly Williams (Mark), Rebekah Lee (Justin), Rachel Dunham (Chad), and Wilson Sanders (Alyssa); 3 great-grandchildren.
