Joyce Gallimore Lambeth

Joyce Gallimore Lambeth, 87, of Mountain Vista Health Park and formerly of Wright Rd., Lexington passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Hinkle Hospice House.

A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Clarksbury United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Brian Workman. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.

Joyce was born February 5, 1933 in Randolph County to Troy Gallimore, Sr. and Edith Loflin Gallimore. She was a member of Silver Valley Baptist Church. Joyce had worked as a looper in the hosiery industry and later worked as a house cleaner. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Lambeth; brothers, Troy Gallimore, Jr. and Joe Gallimore; sisters, her twin, Lois Parrish and Shirley Hedrick.

She is survived by sons, James Lambeth (Shirley) and Darrell Lambeth (Sheryl) all of Lexington; daughter, Judy Hughes (Jimmy) of Lexington; brother, Jerry Gallimore of Lexington; sisters, Norma Hall of Asheboro and Peggy Lambeth of Myrtle Beach; 6 grandchildren, Angel Lambeth Pendergrass (Max) of Denton, Jason Hughes (Jessica) of Thomasville, Crystal Lambeth of Greensboro, Jonathan Hughes (Jennifer) of Lexington, Eric Lambeth (Susan) of Lexington, Megan Lambeth Darnell (Zack) of Lexington; 8 great-grandchildren; and 1great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Mountain Vista Health Park 106 Mt. Vista Rd. Denton, NC 27239 or Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way Lexington, NC 27292.
