Joyce Brown Cagle

Joyce Brown Cagle, 85, of Burrows St., Troy, died Monday, May 17, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Southside Cemetery in Troy, with Rev. Russ Brown officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service. Born in Montgomery County on October 22, 1935, she was the daughter of Russell Lee and Hettie Richardson Brown. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church and had been a secretary at the Smitherman Cotton Mill. Mrs. Cagle is survived by her husband, Bill Cagle, Sr. of the home; Bill Cagle, Jr. of the home; daughter, Tina Cagle Beaman (Roy) of Troy; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great-grandchildren. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
