Josephine Hall Burkhead age 86, of Candor died Saturday, November 03, 2012 at Autumn Care of Biscoe. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday November 5 at Candor United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. David E. Heath and Rev. Jessie Dennis. Interment will follow in the Candor Cemetery. Ms. Burkhead was born February 17, 1926 in Montgomery County to Jasper Hall and Cora Morris Hall. She was a member of Candor United Methodist Church and worked in textiles as an inspector. Ms. Burkhead is survived by her daughter; Jill Burkhead Freeman of Candor. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at 136 E.
