Joseph Byrant Woodlief

Mr. Joseph Woodlief, age 52, of Denton died April 18 at his residence. A graveside service will be 2:30 pm Wednesday, April 24 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens in Denton. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Wednesday, prior to the service, at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mr. Woodlief was born April 9, 1961 in Wake County to William and Betty Wynne Woodlief. He was employed with Southern Film Extruders as a machine operator. He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Ava Ocker. He is survived by his mother, Betty Woodlief of Denton, one brother, Lester Thomas Woodlief of Thomasville and three sisters, Jackie Pullum of Denton, Donna Woodlief of Asheboro and Betty Jo Coppeley of Thomasville.
