Albert Jonah Ingram, Sr., 72, of Cap Ingram Rd., Lexington died Saturday, March 14 at his residence following a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Floyd Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Dickens officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Ingram was born June 1, 1936 in Davidson County to William Corbet Ingram and Mary Ellen Davis Ingram. He worked as a Lead Router for Lexington Furniture Industries. He was a member of Floyd Baptist Church. Preceding him in death was a son; Albert Jonah (Pete) Ingram, Jr. Survivors are his wife; Nannie Mae Buie Ingram of the home, son; Scott Ingram and wife Nita Bruce Ingram of Lexington, grandchildren; Christy Eller, Lori Peace, Holly Ingram, and Sheldon McDaniels, great grandchildren; Cordell Graham, Haley Blankenship, Isaiah Ingram, Sabrina Eller, Amber Peace, Robby Hedrick, and C. J. Eller. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the residence on Cap Ingram Rd.
