Candor, North Carolina Johnson James Livingston, 96, died Wednesday evening, March 15, 2006 at Autumn Care Nursing Home in Biscoe. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Tabernacle Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Candor Cemetery. Mr. Livingston was born September 21, 1909 in Montgomery County to James Archie and Della McCallum Livingston. He was a carpenter and a farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WWII. Mr. Livingston is survived by his wife, Odell Deaton Livingston and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor.
