Mr. Johnny Harris Shaw, Sr. age 66 died Monday, March 3, 2014 at Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Shaw was born March 27, 1947 in Randolph County to James Worth Shaw and Anna Cranford Shaw. He was a logger and was preceded in death by a daughter; Angel S. Cagle and by brothers; James Shaw and Jessie Frank Shaw. Survivors include, wife; Elizabeth C. Shaw of the home, son; Johnny Shaw, Jr. of Lexington, daughter; Tammy Spivey of Denton, brothers; Ray Shaw and Milford Shaw both of Denton, sisters; Nancy Jennings of Archdale and Maude Thomas of Arizona, and 8 grandchildrren. The family will receive friends at the home of the son Johnny Shaw, Jr on 167 Arnolds Farm Lane, Lexington. Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Shaw Family.
