John Daniel Hoover, 65, of Bethel Church Road, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, at Evans Rest Home, Mt. Gilead. No services are planned at this time. He was native of Richmond County and a self-employed truck driver. Surviving are daughters, Cindy Barbor and Diane Hoover McKinney; mother, Lillian King Hoover of Jackson Springs; brothers, Alvin Hoover of Eagle Springs; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home, Candor, is in charge of arrangements
