Mr. John Thomas Byerly, age 43 of Seven Oaks Drive, Linwood, NC died Tuesday, February 23 at his residence. A Private Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 27 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Peter McGuire officiating. Mr. Byerly was born March 25, 1977 in Forsyth County. He was a self-employed landscaper. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and overall being outdoors. While John possessed a quiet demeanor, he was always ready to help anyone. However, while quiet, John had a great laugh that was unmistakable. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by biological parents, Brenda and Melvin Tucker, grandparents, Wannie and Myrtice Byerly and Thomas Lail; brother Harold Tucker; uncle Bruce Redmon. He is survived by parents, Danny and Eva Lail Byerly of Denton; sister, Caitlin Byerly of Jamestown; cousins, Justin and Holly Surratt of Thomasville, Farrah Byerly Graves of Archdale and Gary Byerly 0f High Point; uncle and aunt, Dale and Lynn Byerly of Denton; aunt, Elizabeth Redmon of Denton; grandparents, Bobby and Nancy Grubb of Trinity; sisters, Heather Tucker of Linwood, Tammy Tucker of Dublin, Virginia, Rochelle Tucker of Warsaw, Virginia; brother, Terry Tucker of Dublin, Virginia and sister-in-law, Rebecca Tucker of Dublin, Virginia.
