John Barker

John McArthur Barker, age 69 of Denton died Wednesday, October 31 at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service for Mr. Barker will be Saturday, November 3 at Floral Garden Park Cemetery in High Point with Rev. Norman Henderson officiating. Mr. Barker was born January 25, 1943 in Davidson County to Wade and Carrie Rogers Barker. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and had worked as a carpenter in the home building industry. He is survived by one daughter Lisa Tillman and husband Michael of Mocksville, one sister Bessie Hepler of Denton and two grandchildren Afton Tillman and Maddie Cheek. . Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Barker family.
