Mr. Joseph P (Joe)Hamilton III, age 64 of Wyonna Drive Denton died Saturday, July 6 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 9 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronald Thompson. Burial will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times will be at the residence on Wyonna Drive Mr. Hamilton was born August 28, 1948 in Davidson County to J P. Hamilton, Jr. and Allene Deaton Hamilton. He was owner/operator of Hamilton Trucking Company and was an avid hunter. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Gallimore Hamilton of the home; a daughter, Lynn Davis and husband Reggie;father, J P Hamilton, Jr of Denton; brothers, Bobby Hamilton and wife Lee Ann, Jimmy Hamilton and wife Teresa, Kim Hamilton and wife Diane and Phillip (Chop) Hamilton all of Denton; sister Sherry Garner and husband Charles of Denton; 1 grandchild Ryan Davis and fiancee Gina Hulin
