Jody Loftin

Mr. Jody Edward Loftin, 38, of Jim Elliott Rd., Denton passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A memorial service will be held 4:00 pm Wednesday, June 27 at South Davidson Fire Department.

Jody was born June 11, 1980 in Guilford County to Tim Loftin and the late Juanita Russell Loftin. He was a graduate of South Davidson High School class of 1998 and had attended Chapel Hill United Methodist Church. Also Jody was a member of South Davidson Fire Department. He especially enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.

In addition to his mother he was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Wade and Myrtle Lanier Russell and paternal grandparents, Fred and Marie Buie Loftin.

Jody is survived by his father, Tim Loftin of the home and son, Ty Loftin of Denton.

The family will receive friends at the residence.
