Joann Wilson

Mrs. JoAnn Potts Wilson, age 73 of NC Hwy # 8, Denton, NC died Sunday, February 7 at Forsyth Regional Hospital in Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Clear Springs United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Sandy Young. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will see friends in the church Fellowship Hall following the service on Wednesday. Mrs. Wilson was born November 29, 1936 in Davidson County to Ernest Ray Potts and Ida Harvey Potts. She was a retired employee of Surratt Hosiery Mill and a member of Clear Springs United Methodist Church. She was married to Charlie E. Wilson who died May 16, 1998. Mrs. Wilson is survived by sons, John Wilson and wife Sharon of Linwood; Eddie Wilson and wife Linda of Ramseur and Ricky Wilson and wife Debbie of Thomasville; by a daughter Connie Whiting and husband Scott of Concord; by sisters Ruth Younts, Dot Greer and Vivian Briggs all of Lexington; by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
