Joann Karriker Latham

Mrs. JoAnn Karriker Latham, age 86, of Gravel Hill Rd. Denton passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 at her residence.

A graveside service will be held 4:00 pm Sunday, June 21 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Claudie Harrison officiating.

Mrs. Latham was born December 24, 1933 in Iredell County to Lewis Mitchell Karriker and Eva Belle Smith Karriker. JoAnn was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. She was retired from General Electric as a Bookkeeper. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Hugh MacDonald.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Latham of the home; daughter, Pam Miller and her husband Ed of Raleigh; brother, Phillip Karriker of Mooresville; 6 grandchildren, Matthew Miller (Ashley), Mark Miller (Melody), Michael Miller (Mary), Miranda Miller, Meredith Waldorf (Spencer), and Mitchell Miller; 3 great-grandchildren, Skyler, Willow, and Kaylo Waldorf.

In lieu of flowers contributions should be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
