Joan Lax Delacruz, 66, of Biscoe, died Friday, December 16, 2016 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Graveside Service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Derby Baptist Church. Born December 5, 1950 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Glenn and Blenn Sedberry Lax. She was a homemaker. She is survived by two sons, Therese Glenn Glover and wife Gaylene of Lawton OK and Curtis Edward Glover, Jr. and wife Tonya of Willow Springs MO; brother, Mitchell Lax of Virginia; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the graveside service at Derby Baptist Church. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
