Jimmy Buford Sexton

Mr. Jimmy Buford Sexton, age 66, of Denton died Friday, November 9 at his home. A graveside service for Mr. Sexton will be 2:30 pm Sunday, November 11 at Piney Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Bill Foust and Elder Bobby Snider officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2:00 pm Sunday, prior to the service, at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. Mr. Sexton was born September 18, 1946 in Randolph County to Paul Hansel and Anna Mae Hulin Sexton. He was of the Methodist faith. He had worked at Burlington Industries for 26 years. His hobby was racing pigeons and he was a member of the Tar Hill Racing Club, winning many racing prizes over the years. He loved to farm. Mr. Sexton is survived by his wife, Jacquline Hulin Sexton of the home, two sons Gary Sexton and Daniel Sexton, both of Denton,his Mother, Annie Mae Hulin of Denton and two sisters Renee White and LaVae Hughes, both of Lexington. .
