Jimmy Dwayne Beam, 59, of Champion Dr., Thomasville, NC passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, June 24, at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton. At other times the family will be at the residence.
Jimmy was born June 21, 1964, in California to Bill Beam and Gena Marie Davis Beam Alcala. He was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a welder. He was also preceded in death by his mother, Gena Davis Alcala, his father, Bill Beam, a brother, Dail Beam, and a step-brother, Mark Alcala.
Jimmy loved watching football, NASCAR, F1 racing, and baseball. He was a fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves. Having recently attended his first Atlanta Braves game along with his son, Dylan.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lisa Hulin Beam of the home; son, Jimmy Dylan Beam and his fiancée Amanda; daughter, Tina Marie Beam and grandson, Kevin Tyler Hunt of Monte Sereno, California; brother, Billy Beam (Lisa) of Denton; brother, David Alcala (Robin) of Albemarle; step-brother, Steve Alcala (Nancy) of Idaho; step-sister, Debbie Axell (Wade) of Texas; also many special nieces and nephews.
