Jewel L Williams

Jewel L. Williams, 78, of East Main St., Biscoe, died Monday, February 13, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at Biscoe Cemetery, with Rev. Thurman Williams officiating. Born in Coosa County, Alabama on June 24, 1933, she was the daughter of Israel and Bessie Latham Luther. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, James C. Williams of the home; 3 sons, James and Kim Williams, both of Troy, Samuel Davis of Biscoe; 2 Daughters, Judy Dunn of Biscoe and Patricia Goodwin of Troy; 2 sisters, Lura Smith of Rockingham and Barbara Chappell of Candor; 6 Grandchildren; 9 Great-grandchildren; 1 Great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM prior to the service at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home and other times at the residence on East Main Street, Biscoe. The family requests, no flowers and memorials to be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 or to your local Hospice Chapter. Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
