Jettie Smith

Miss Jettie Smith, age 90 of South NC Highway # 109, Denton, NC died Saturday, December 27 at High Point Regional Hospital. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, Dec. 29 at Lineberry United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Steve McLain and burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Miss Smith was born March 12, 1918 in Davidson County to John Nelson Smith and Lizzie Russell Smith. She had worked at Bisher Mills, Adams-Millis Company and retired from Ultra-Mek. She was a member of Lineberry United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by brothers, Marvin, Fred Lewis, Voyette, James, and Worth Smith. She is survived by her sister, Annie Lee Allen and husband Max of Denton and her brother, Loy Smith of Trinity. She is also survived by 2 Nieces; 2 Nephews and several Great Nieces and Nephews. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
