Jessie Shaw

Mr. Jessie Frank Shaw age 71, of Cornerstone Rd. Lexington, died Thursday, February 13, 2014 at his residence.   A memorial service will be held 7:00 PM Monday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Melvin Morton.   The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Cornerstone Rd.   Mr. Shaw was born September 20, 1942 in Randolph County to James Worth Shaw and Anna Cranford Shaw. He worked as a rove and tender in the cotton mill industry. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Shaw and by a brother; James Shaw.   Survivors include, wife; Rosa Victoria Carlton Shaw of the home, son; Worth Frank Shaw, daughter; Vickie Shaw Triplett of Lexington, 2 grandchildren Jessica Shaw and Christopher Triplett, and 2 great grandchildren, brothers; Ray Shaw, Johnny Shaw, and Milford Shaw all of Denton, sisters; Nancy Jennings of Archdale and Maude Thomas of Arizona.
