Jerry Monroe Vaughn

Jerry Monroe Vaughn, 74, of West End, passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at his home.

A celebration of Mr. Vaughn’s life will be at 6:00 pm Tuesday, March 21, 2023 in the Chapel of Briggs-Candor Funeral Home. The family will greet friends following the service.

Mr. Vaughn was born March 31, 1948 in Moore County, a son of the late Elisha Robert and Martha Elizabeth Webster Vaughn. He had worked with Bill Luck Sand and Gravel as a heavy equipment operator. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Christine Shore and Sallie Sturdivant.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Jo McInnis Vaughn; sons, Jerry Scott Vaughn and Jeffrey Keith Vaughn (Crystal); grandchildren, Jordan Vaughn and Justin Sheffield; great grandchildren, Chloe Vaughn and Anna Vaughn-Gomez; brother, Pinkney Vaughn and sisters, Clara Maurer and Crystal Douglas.
