Jerry Loflin

Mr. Jerry Wayne Loflin age 72, of NC HWY 49, Denton died Sunday, November 01, 2015 at Stanly Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Lineberry United Methodist Church Cemetery. Entombment will be at a later date. Mr. Loflin was born December 28, 1942 in Guilford County to Ernest P. Loflin and Mamie Henderson Loflin. Jerry enjoyed farming and being outdoors. In addition to his parents Jerry was preceded in death by sisters, Myrtle Shankle and Opal Reid. Surviving are wife, Daynese Loflin Loflin of the home; son, Jerry Loflin of Denton; daughters, Teresa L. Flowers and husband Todd of New London and Amy Loflin of High Point; granddaughter, Katelyn Grace Flowers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence. Memorials can be made to the donor’s choice.
