Jerry Lee Surratt

Mr. Jerry Lee Surratt, age 81, of Sexton Road, Denton NC passed away Friday morning on May 8, 2026 at his residence.

The family will receive friends 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 10, 2026 prior to the service at Canaan Global Methodist Church.  A funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. at Canaan Global Methodist Church with Rev. Chris Smith and Johnny Daniels officiating.  Burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Jerry was born on December 30, 1944 in Guilford County to George Lee Surratt and Blanche Thompson Surratt.  He was a television and electronics repair man for many years and later retired from Davidson County School Systems as a bus monitor.  Jerry was a member of Canaan Global Methodist Church and he attended Chapel Hill Methodist Church. He was active in the Woodman Life.

He is survived by his loving wife Sue Marvene Elliott Surratt; a son, Brantley Surratt and his wife Jamie; a daughter, Courtney Surratt Howard and her husband Matt all of Denton;  grandchildren, Savannah Surratt (Ayden), Ryleigh Howard and Sawyer Surratt; brother-in-law, Karl Elliott and his wife Susan; nieces, Janet (Britt), Elliott and Linda.
