Jerome Lamonds

Jerome Archie Lamonds, 70, of Candor Troy Rd., Candor died Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. A Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, June 24 at Laurel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Michael Light. The family will see friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM Friday prior to the service at Briggs Candor Funeral Home. Mr. Lamonds was born April 6, 1941 to David Lamonds and Blanche Parsons Lamonds. He worked in construction, and was preceded in death by a son, Danny Lamonds and a brother, Cletus Lamonds. Survivors include, wife; Gail Anthony Lamonds of the home, son; Jerome “Jerry” Archie Lamonds Jr. of Hickory, daughters; Diane Brown of Biscoe, Sandy Ray of Biscoe, and Madeiline Lamonds of Troy, brothers; Roger Lamonds of Greensboro and Don Lamonds of Covington, GA.
