Jeff "Bubba" Cooper

Mr. Jeff “Bubba” Greer Cooper, 53, of Yates Rd., Denton passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2019 at his residence.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 6 at Holloway’s Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Claudie Harrison.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:15 to 1:45 pm at Holloway’s Baptist Church and other times at the residence.

“Bubba” was born March 5, 1966 in Davidson County to Rev. Russell Greer Cooper, Jr. and Carolyn Troutman Cooper. He was a member of Holloway’s Baptist Church and had previously been employed at PP&G until a decline in health. He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. Russell Greer Cooper, Jr.

He is survived by, mother, Carolyn Troutman Cooper of the home; brothers, Gary Cooper and wife Denise of Alabama and Greg Cooper and wife June of Denton; sisters, Sharon Metcalf and husband Steve of Denton and Kristy Everhart and husband Robert of Southmont; 3 nephews, 2 nieces, and 1 great-nephew.
