Jean Browe

Mrs. Jean Burrell Browe age 84, of Denton passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at Mountain Vista Health Park. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, Feb. 5 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Chris Smith officiating. Mrs. Browe was born was born September 29, 1932 in Detroit, MI to Alexander Burrell and Ellen Rugg Burrell. She was retired from Burlington Industries. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Browe; sons, Robert Browe and Charles “Chuck” Browe; grandson, Brian Browe; brothers, Stan, Mort, Bill, and Alex Burrell; sister, Winona Vaught. Surviving are sons, David Browe and wife Shirley of Denton and Rickey Browe and partner Abby Parrish of Thomasville; daughter, Sharon Beane of Denton; brother, Doug Burrell of Michigan; sister, Ruth Cousins of Michigan; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of daughter Sharon Beane.
