Jason Monroe Bowman

Mr. Jason Monroe Bowman, 38, a resident of Surratt Rd. Denton, NC passed away on Friday, Oct. 30, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, Nov. 7 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Pastor James Shelton. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Viewing of the body will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 restrictions face coverings will be required and remember to practice social distancing.

Jason was born on July 4, 1982 in Statesville, NC to Charlie Edward Bowman and Linda Taylor Bowman. He was employed with Marquis Contract Corporation.

He is survived by daughters, Hannah Leann Bowman of the home, Taylor Gayle Bowman and Adaline Elaine Bowman of Trinity; parents, Charlie E. Bowman and Linda T. Bowman of Denton; fiancée, Madison Chavis of Denton; mother of his children, Jodie Bowman of Trinity; brothers, Daniel Bowman (Karen) of Statesville, Phillip Bowman of Durham, and Todd Bowman of Denton; sister, Bridget Blalock (Bryan) of Denton; numerous aunts, uncle, cousins, and friends.

Following the service the family will receive friends at the home of his parents.
