Janie Cole

Mrs. Janie Bescher Cole, age 63 of Farmer-Denton Road, Denton, died Sunday, November 25 at Randolph Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Ken McDowell and Tiffany Cole-Buck. Burial will follow in the North Bend Cemetery on Bescher Chapel Road. The family will see friends at Briggs Funeral Home from 12:30 to 1:30 PM Thursday and other times will be at the residence on Farmer-Denton Road. Mrs. Cole was born June 16, 1949 in Davidson County to Charles D. Bescher and Pauline Wright Bescher. She was employed as sales manager with U S Furniture Industries for 27 years and worked is sales with AFLAC for 14 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and was a member of Piney Grove United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband John T. Cole of the home, daughters, Tammy Cole Boyers of Randleman and Tiffany Cole-Buck and husband Brad of Belmont; brother Wayne Bescher and wife Voncil of Denton; sister Sue Bescher Grubb and husband Steve of Denton and 2 grandchildren, Cole Boyers and Addison Boyers. She is also survived by her beloved Shih-Tuz Lulu and 2 grandpuppies, Charlie and Bentley. Memorials may be made to Famer Christian Academy, 4751 Dunbar Bridge road, Asheboro, NC 27205
