Janice Chisholm Thomas

Janice Chisholm Thomas, 47, formerly of Candor, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.  A Graveside Memorial Service will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Chisholm Family Cemetery on Loving Hill Rd., Candor.   Born October 17, 1970 in Montgomery County, Jan was the daughter of John Wayne and Cathy Luck Chisholm.   She was a home maker.   She is survived by her husband, Justin Thomas of Wilmington; son, Drew Connor of Charlotte; daughter, Lauren Connor of Wilmington; mother, Cathy Chisholm of Candor; sister, Kim Thompson of Candor; 2 grandchildren, Evie and Jackson Connor.   The family will receive friends at the home of her mother on Loving Hill Rd., Candor, on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM.   Briggs-Candor Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
