Janice Williams Glover

Janice Williams Glover, 81, of Denton, NC passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026, at her residence. Born on January 27, 1945, in Montgomery County, NC Janice was the daughter of Willie Williams and Ida Greene Williams.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Pleasant Grove Church with Rev. Deborah Garner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will be receiving friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday prior to the funeral service starting at Pleasant Grove Church. At other times the family will be meeting at the residence.

Janice was a faithful member of Victory Church in Asheboro where she was very active until a decline in her health. She had been employed at Klopman Mills, Mountain Vista Health Park, and Green Printing. As a devoted Christian Janice loved to study in her bible, working in her flower gardens, and singing and playing music. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Lee Glover on June 3, 2004; her brothers, Rupert Williams and Sherrill Williams; and by a son-in-law, Mackie Evans on June 19, 2026.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, William “Bill” Glover and his wife Patti; daughters, Brenda Evans and Barbara Nance and her husband Mike; sisters, Joanne Leluan and Leah Raye McIntyre; 9 grandchildren, Michael Wayne Glover, Roy Hulin, Miles Buie, Colton Buie, Amber Nance, Kasey Atwell, Patrick Glover, Dakota Glover, and Issac Glover; 11 great-grandchildren, Michael Isaiah Glover, Andrew Lee Glover, Jaxxon Todd Buie, Amelia Raye Buie, Haley Atwell, Andi Atwell, Victoria Atwell, Roman Atwell, Amelia Atwell, Charlotte Poole, and Ava Nance; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
