Janice Wright Gallimore

Janice Wright Gallimore, 65, of Cid Rd., Lexington, died Friday, May 6, 2016 at High Point Regional Hospital in High Point. Funeral Service will be 4:00 PM Tuesday at Liberty Baptist Church, with Rev. David Bowman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born in Davidson County on January 3, 1951, she was the daughter of Robert Bruce and Sarilla Winkler Wright. She was the owner of Cid Hosiery Mill and later the cafeteria manager at Hopewell Elementary School. She is survived by her husband, Roger Gallimore of the home; son, Jason Hughes and wife Stephanie of Denton; mother, Sarilla Wright of Denton; 2 sisters, Elaine Wright of High Point and Nancy Drozd of Lexington; 2 grandchildren, Jacie and Jacob Hughes. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Tuesday prior to the service at Liberty Baptist Church. Arrangements by Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
