Jane Hughes Cox

Jane Christine Hughes Cox, 54, of Tom’s Creek Church Rd., Denton, NC passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at her residence.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date at True Worship Church. The burial will be private.

Jane was born on December 5, 1969, in Forsyth County, the daughter of Billy Ray Hughes and Sylvia Cooper Hughes. She attended True Worship Church in Denton and was employed at Mountain Vista Health Park as a cook. Preceding her in death was her father, Billy Ray Hughes.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Shane Franklin Gardner; mother, Sylvia Hughes; sisters, Molly Covington, Peggy Strickland, Carol Hughes, and Mary Thompson; a grandson, Justice Gardner.
