James Robert Tomlinson, Jr. CANDOR -- Mr. Tomlinson, 67, died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 in Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be 11:30 AM Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Candor Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dena White officiating. The family will receive friends following the service on Saturday at the church. A native of Stanly County, Mr. Tomlinson was born July 31, 1939, the son of James Robert Tomlinson and Anne Mallison Tomlinson. He was a member of Candor Presbyterian Church, and was a marketing consultant with NASCAR. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Tomlinson of the home; daughters, Luanne Wiseman and Donna Coffey, both of Kannapolis, and Angela Forbes of Mooresville; brother, Garrett Tomlinson of Greensboro; and seven grandchildren.
