James Edward Osborne

Candor-Jim Osborne James Edward Osborne, 70, of Graham Rd., Candor, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. A Memorial Service will be 3 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Alexander officiating. Inurnment will be in New York at a later date. Born on September 13, 1938 in Waterloo, NY, Mr. Osborne was the son of Edward and Mildred Kise Osborne. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church and retired from Southern Correctional Institute. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne in 2006 and a grandson, James in 2002. He is survived by 2 Daughters, Linda Conklin of Jacksonville FL and Cindy Bourne of Waterloo NY; 3 Stepsons, Bill Powers of Candor, Rick Powers of Ontario NY and Bob Powers of Rochester NY; 3 sisters, Sharon Vidler, Sandra Farnsworth and Gail Fletcher, all of Seneca Falls NY; 14 Grandchildren; 3 Great-grandchildren.
