Midland-James F McInnis James Franklin McInnis, 68, of Robert Bost Rd., Midland, died Thursday at his residence. A memorial service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel. Born on November 29, 1940, in Moore County, the son of Eugene Franklin and Maggie Johnson McInnis, Mr. McInnis was a member of Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church. He was a diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Byrd McInnis and a son, Anthony Scott McInnis. Jimmy loved his family, hunting, fishing, retirement, Nascar (Tony Stewart), his beloved dog Jake and most of all, God. He is survived by a son, Eugene (wife Judy) McInnis of Midland; 3 daughters, Janet (husband Bobby) Bates of Mint Hill, Patti McInnis of Stanfield and Karen McInnis of Mint Hill; a brother, Paul McInnis of Jackson Springs; 2 sisters, Barbara (husband Joe) Rosey of Aberdeen, and Mary Jo (husband Jerry) Vaughn of West End; 6 grandchildren; 2 Great-grandchildren.
