James Leach

Mr. James Walton Leach, age 76 of Augusta, Georgia and formerly of Candor died Sunday, February 22 in Augusta. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, February 27 at Macedonia Presbyterian Church Conducted by Pastor Tim Ferrell. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mr. Leach was born October 18, 1938 in Montgomery County to Ervin Leach and Ollie Settle Leach. He was a self-employed carpenter and a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Thomson, Georgia. He was preceded in death by a son Jon Walton Leach and a daughter Joyce L Juarez. He is survived by daughters Mary Ellen Garcia and Jan Leach both of Topeka, Kansas; a son James Malcolm Leach of Baxter Springs, Kansas; sisters, Scarlett Leach and Sara L. Thompson both of Candor and Becky L. Roach(Corky) of Albemarle; and his best friend, Jennie Durham of Augusta, Georgia; 16 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
