James B. Lang, Sr.

James Bernard Lang, Sr., age 68 of Denton died Friday, Sept. 19 at North East Medical Center in Concord. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 21 at Mountain View Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Lang was born August 26, 1940 in Allegheny County Pa to Matthew Lang and Margaret Diamond Lang. He had worked as a commercial Painter and was a Catholic. Mr. Lang is survived by a Son, James Bernard Lang, Jr. of Monroe, by Daughters, Patricia Ellwanger of Denton, Diana Smyres of Hazelwood, Pa, Sandra Thompson of Kannapolis, Jacqueline English of Monroe and Theresa Corbitt of Alabama, a Sister Alice Lang, a Brother, Richard Lang, and 10 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. The family will see friends from 2:00 to 2:45 PM Sunday at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton.
