James Leon Lamonds

James Leon Lamonds, 71, of Bamboo Ridge Rd., Biscoe, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 5:00 pm Monday, March 27 at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Baker. Mr. Lamonds was born April 26, 1945 in Moore County to Edgar Lamonds and Gladys Freeman Lamonds. He had worked as an Industrial Welder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Priscilla Evans and brother, Herbert Lamonds. Surviving are son, Clifford Lamonds of Biscoe; daughter, Katey Lamonds of Candor; brothers, Johnny Lamonds, Eugene Lamonds, Charles Lamonds, Hoyle Lamonds, Rodger Lamonds, Richard Lamonds all of Candor, and Warren Lamonds of Mt. Gilead; sisters, Millie Linville and Eleanor Stutts both of Candor. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4:00 to 5:00 pm at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
