James Kearns

James Manley Kearns, 86, of Eastside Dr., Denton, NC passed away on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021, at High Point Regional Hospital.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM day, Nov. 22, 2021, at Mountain View Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Benny Clodfelter.

James was born January 19, 1935, in Alamance County to  the late Charles B. Kearns and Thelma Mullinix Kearns. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of Central United Methodist Church, and a longtime member of the Denton Lions Club.

He is survived by his wife, Lynda Snider Kearns of the home; daughters, Deborah Behrens and husband Todd, Pamela Kearns, and Keesha Kearns all of Denton; brothers, Don Kearns and wife Pat and Carol Kearns and wife Dixie all of Troy; 3 grandchildren, Kaleb Harrison, Courtney Behrens, and Nick Behrens; 4 great-grandchildren, Haven Kearns, Jayda Rocchi, Layla Downey, and Weston James Surratt.

The family will be gathering at the home of  granddaughter, Courtney Behrens on Denton Rd.
