James Hill

James Ralph (Jim) Hill, age 78 of Clara Hill Road, Lexington, (Cid Community) died Monday, July 31 at his residence. Mr. Hill was born January 6, 1928 in Davidson County to James L. Hill and Clara Moose Hill. He was a retired US Air Force veteran and a retired employee of the City of High Point. He was member of Walters Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Scarboro Hill of the home.Sons, James Edward Hill, Martin Ray Hill and Richard Clark Hill. Step-Sons, Charles William Buchanan, and James Buchanan. Daughters, Cynthis Rudd and Tami Buchanan, Step-Daughters Edie Ballew, Robin Buchanan and Becky Bonnick. Brothers, Raymond Jack Hill and Donald Hill. 27 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM Thursday, August 3 at Walters Grove Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Jeremy Simpson with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will see friends from 4:00 to 6:00 Pm Thursday at the Church. Memorials may be made to Walters Grove Christian Academy, 2601 Cid Road, Lexington, NC 27292
