James Bucher

Mr. James Paul Bucher, age 71 of Farmer Road, Denton, NC died Sunday, December 11 at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, December 14 at Salisbury National Cemetery conducted by Rev. Pastor Mike Huffmann. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Briggs Funeral Home and other times at the residence. Mr. Bucher was born January 12, 1940 in Patterson New Jersey to James Patrick Bucher and Ella Osbun Bucher. He was a retired truck driver, a veteran of the U S Navy and a member of Our Father Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Galuppo Bucher of the home, sons James Patrick Bucher of Mt. Bethel, Pa., Michael Bucher of Greenville, SC and Rene Bucher of Denton; a daughter Debra Alcalal of Denton; sisters Teresa Wesler of Virginia and Evelyn Pirro of Pennsylvania; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
