Mrs. Jackie Rose Tussey Gallimore age 80, of Sexton Rd., Denton passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015 at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, Feb.24 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronald Thompson. Interment will follow at Mountain View Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Gallimore was born May 2, 1934 in Davidson County. Jackie worked as a Lab Technician with Burlington Industries and was preceded in death by her, mother, Nellie Belle Tussey; sister, Peggy Darlene Tussey; brother, Foy Ray Tussey; son-in-law, Joe Hamilton. Survivors include, husband, Moody Dwight Gallimore of the home; son, Craig Gallimore of Denton; daughter, Vickie Gallimore Hamilton of Denton; granddaughter, Lynn Davis (Reggie) of Denton; great-grandsons; Ryan Davis (Gina) and Cameron Shoaf; sister, Joann Maley of Thomasville; and her beloved dog, Ross. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the residence on Sexton Rd.
