Mr. Jackie Doss age 55, of Jackson Hill Rd., Denton died Friday, July 25, 2014 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 5:30 PM Thursday, July 31 at Briggs Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by Rev. Gerald Ward. Jackie was born June 7, 1959 in Richmond, VA., to Oscar Stanley Doss and Ruby Ann Bumgarner Doss. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving; wife, Berlene Walls Doss ; brothers, Ralph Doss of Denton, Robert Doss of Bristol, Tenn., Mike Doss of Johnson City, Tenn., Jr. Doss of Bristol, Tenn., and Rick Doss of Abingdon, VA.
