Jack Sam Tomasino

Jack Sam Tomasino, 92, of NC HWY South, Denton, NC passed away on Monday, July 22, 2024, at his residence.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 25, at Mountain View Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sandy Young presiding.

Mr. Tomasino was born on February 27, 1932, in Rochester, NY, the son of Jack Tomasino and Ruth Nelius Tomasino. Jack was a self-employed heavy equipment operator, and along with his wife they had previously owned and operated Denton Florist. Prior to moving to North Carolina Jack had been active in the Moose and Elks Lodge. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Darla Wink Tomasino and by a daughter, Ruth Ann Tomasino, and a granddaughter, Stephanie Spring.

He is survived by a son, Dave Tomasino; stepson, Matt Hallings (Diane); daughters, Jackie Spring (Tom) and Kathrine Tomasino; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Briggs Funeral Home in Denton is serving the Tomasino family.
