Jackson Springs Jean Lee, age 79, formerly of Jackson Springs, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Sandy Ridge Assisted Living in Candor. Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, Feb. 25, 2009, at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Gillis officiating. Burial will follow in the West End Cemetery A native of Stokes County, Mrs. Lee was born November 7, 1929, the daughter of Ezra and Gladys Shelton. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Lee in 1998. Mrs. Lee is survived by 2 Daughters, Dianne Baker of Pinehurst and Gail Lee of Eagle Springs; 5 sons, Gerald Lee of Jackson Springs, Larry Lee of New Orleans, LA, Wayne Lee, Charles Lee and Danny Lee, all of Jackson Springs; 7 Grandchildren; 3 Great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home.
