Mr. Hulan Lamonds, age 100 of Currie Mill Road, Jackson Springs NC died Saturday, June 1 at the residence of his daughter. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 4 at Macedonia Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Matthew Baker. Burial will follow in the Jackson Springs Cemetery. The family will see friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday at Briggs-Candor Funeral Home in Candor and other times will be at the residence of Wanda Black on Currie Mill Road, Jackson Springs. Mr. Lamonds was born October 26, 1912 in Montgomery County to Daniel David Lamonds and Laurie Ann Leach Lamonds. He was a lifelong farmer and a member of Macedonia Presbyterian Church. He was married to Mary Ina Parsons Lamonds who died June 17, 2007. He is survived by daughters Gathel L Hinson and Wanda Black both of Jackson Springs; a son, Dwight Lamonds of Jackson Springs; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
