Hugh Brian Tews

Hugh Brian Tews, age 43 of Howell Care Center in Charlotte died Thursday, May 16 at CMC Northeast Hospital in Concord. A graveside service for Hugh will be 11:00 am Monday, May 20 at Guilford Memorial Park in Greensboro with Dr. Brian Workman and Dr. Jonathan Burris officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Saturday May 18 at Briggs Funeral Home in Denton and other times at the home of the father. Hugh was born February 15, 1970 in Guilford County to Robert C. and Fannie Mae Taylor Tews. He was preceded in death by his mother on April 19, 2001. Hugh is survived by his father and step-mother, Robert and Susan Tews and three sisters, Monica Tews of Banner Elk, Gail Reineke of Denton and Kay Jones and husband Larry of Denton
