Hubert Elcoe Boroughs

Hubert Elcoe Boroughs, 83, of Jackson Springs, died Sunday, May 18, 2025 at FirstHealth Hospice and Palliative Care in West End.  Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2025 at Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church.  A reception for friends and family will follow the services on Saturday.

Born in Moore County on February 9, 1942, Hubert was the son of Fulton Elcoe and Beatrice Ruby Lisk Boroughs.  He was a member of the Jackson Springs Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the US Air Force.  He was retired from Stanley Furniture. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ray Boroughs.

Mr. Boroughs is survived by a sister, Brenda Boroughs of Jackson Springs; 2 brothers, Leon Boroughs of Ellerbe and Tommy Boroughs (Judy) of Jackson Springs; sister-in-law, Gail Boroughs of Jackson Springs; 7 nieces and nephews; 5 great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jackson Springs Cemetery Fund, PO Box 7, Jackson Springs NC  27281 or to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
