Howard Bailey

Mr. Howard Lee Bailey age 74 of Shiptontown Road, Denton, NC died Saturday at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. A graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 17 at Floyd Baptist Church Cemetery. There will not be any visitation. The family will be at their respective homes. Mr. Bailey was born September 12, 1937 in Davidson County to John Henry Bailey and Lena Shipton Bailey. He was a retired inspector with Burlington Industries with 37 years service. He is survived by his sons, Mark S. Bailey and wife Melita and Jason G. Bailey and wife Shannon all of Lexington; his daughter Connie B. Dienhart and husband Pete of Benson; a sister Beulah Mae Smith of Denton and grandchildren, Jonathan Griffin, Logan Bailey, Jeremy Dienhart and Jaydan Bailey. Briggs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
